of St. Carlo Acutis
OUR MINISTRY
To offer food, essential supplies, and spiritual encouragement to families in need in our community. This ministry is offered by St. Carlo Acutis mentors who are trained to offer prayer, spiritual guidance, accountability, and friendship to the family that they mentor. Through this one-on-one mentoring, we deliver food and essential supplies every other week to families’ homes and, most importantly, Christ’s love & compassion in every encounter we have.
Many of our local families are struggling, some with generational poverty, others due to unexpected life circumstances. As a mentor, you can help bring not just relief, but renewed hope and faith.
We are looking for compassionate people to serve in the following ways.
Mentors
Visit a family every other week, deliver supplies, build relationships, andoffer spiritual support.
Distribution Volunteer
Help our distribution team on every other Thursday afternoon 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. with sorting, boxing and loading boxes of food & supplies for families & mentors.
Prayer Warriors
Maintain contact with our prayer team leader and commit to praying for the needs of the families we serve and our St. Carlo Acutis team members and, especially, our mentors.
Spanish Speakers
Many of our families speak Spanish. If you're bilingual, your help is especially needed!
Clerical Volunteer
Help with phone calls to families and volunteers, enter/update family information in computer software, maintain & update data on volunteers, etc.
